Thanks! That was a great help. I actually did catch the fact that it only mentioned male homosexuals in there...most likely because it's the closest they can come to explaining it "naturally."
He's still bugging me to "show him why it's wrong," however, and the best I can do is tell him that desiring sex just for pleasure is degrading, but he doesn't really believe that and I'm not sure where to go next. :P Scorpionman 05:51, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Here's another "study" he linked me to: [1] that supposedly shows that a hormonal imbalance in the womb is responsible for being gay. It's rather complicated but you get the gist. Would you like to recommend including OrthodoxWiki, or whatever it's called, to the Interwiki table? LOL, that's exactly right because he's looking for a straw-man to knock down, as most evolutionists are. For example: "Intelligent Design is the idea that the universe is too complex to have evolved by chance" (in actuality, it is the idea that design is inherently detectable in nature). Why'd you revert it?

I know Dora the Explorer was a horrible example to use a fill-in, but Chistopher Columbus is a mis-leading example to put as the only 'desirable' sort of ET.

The things CC did were factual and overall gruesome. He enslaved thousands of natives and killed many more. Anyone with a highschool education knows that. That isn't something derived from wikipidia it's common knowledge to anyone that's studied him. I wont try to change it back, but I suggest someone make an actual artical on Columbus or do a little research before they post something such as putting him as a good example of a 'moral' explorer.

Conservapedia

I was reading an article on it the other day, and found a typo. I couldn't edit the page anonymously (no surprise there), nor could I leave a comment on the Talk page. I couldn't leave a comment on a User_talk page, either. I was at work, and I didn't want to bother requesting an account for just one little typo, but not being able to do anything at all was somewhat frustrating. ~ "Webster" Otley (talk) 01:01, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

I know (and knew) I could have requested an account, but I chose not to for several reasons, including the following.
  1. I have three children under five -- I can barely keep up with the wikis I am already on!
  2. I didn't feel it was appropriate to request an account on a political site while at work.
  3. Besides, it was just for one typo fix. I would have spent ten times as long requesting the account as I would have spent editing.

So, anyway, I tried creating an account, but was blocked immediately. Template:Country

Yes, I was trying to make the "Declared, Ratified, Recognized, Current constitution" under "Independence", appear indented with hyphens as "Type, President, Taoiseach, Tánaiste" do under "Government" on the Ireland page. But, I will let you finish with them before I edit them any further. RM: I said evolution was false because it is based on Materialism and because once the assumption of Materialism is accepted it can never be falsified----only modified.

Evolution, since Darwin, is change caused by unintelligent agency (= Materialism). Evolution is false because unintelligent agencies do not exist in nature. We see ID. This means Intelligent agencies are operating in nature----species are immutable.

Wrong appeareance of the template

Hello Temlakos,

Could you please help us in undesrtanding what is wrong in our template ru:Шаблон:ВЗ2. This template add simple quotation from Bible with such method: 

«<i>{{{1|цитата}}}</i>»  ({{Библия|{{{2}}}|{{{3}}}|{{{4}}}}})

Meanings of the values are following:

  • {{{1}}} - text of the scripture
  • {{Библия}} - the template which is adding the path of the scripture (Gen.1:1 e.g)
  • {{{2}}} - book
  • {{{3}}} - verse (or verses)
  • {{{4}}} - adding text or symbols which is not included to the link

When the template ru:Шаблон:ВЗ2 is using in the article the line feed is appearing unexpectedly

You can see on the page ru:Божественность_Святого_Духа this image:
