Shuah (Hebrew: שוח, Shūakh; "Name means::wealth") was the sixth son of Son of::Abraham and Son of::Keturah, the fifth male son (Genesis 25:2 and 1Chronicles 1:32 ).

Descendants
Shuah was the founder of the Shuites, one of whose descendants (Bildad) counseled Job (Job 8 ). The Assyrians knew Shuah’s posterity as the Suhu, and describe their land as adjacent to the Euphrates, south of Carchemish, between the Balikh and Khabur Rivers (The Khabur River was recorded as the Chaboras by Ptolemy). In addition, there was a district in Anatolia known as Isua during the Neo-Assyrian period (c. 700 BC) as well as the Shahabad district in Persia and the Shahrakhs and Shahankuh Mountains.
