Ibzan (Hebrew: אבצן, ʼIḇẓān; "Name means::splendid") (fl. Flourit::Abib 2858 AM–Died::Abib 2865 AM)[1] was the eleventh Judge of Israel. He lived in Bethlehem, a city of Judah. The Bible says that he had thirty sons and thirty daughters, and that he had his daughters marry outside the family and had his sons marry thirty women from outside the family.[2]
His career lasted seven years, and then he died. (Judges 12:8-10 ) Sadly, the Philistines took total dominion over Israel two years before his death.
