Response Article
This article (Flood from comet (Talk.Origins)) is a response to a rebuttal of a creationist claim published by Talk.Origins Archive under the title Index to Creationist Claims.

Claim CH410:

The waters from Noah's Flood came from an ice comet.

Source: No source given.

CreationWiki response: In 1696, William Whiston published A New Theory of the Earth, in which he proposed an account of the creation of the world. Whiston was the first to propose that the global flood was caused by the water in the tail of a comet.
