Uzzi

Uzzi (Hebrew: עזי, ʻUzzī; "forceful") (fl. 2763-2843 AM) was the sixth high priest of Israel and an ancestor of Ezra. (1_Chronicles 6:5,51 , Ezra 7:1-5 )

Uzzi is one of three high priests of the line of Eleazar who held the office between the death of Phinehas (2603 AM) and the investiture of Eli (2843 AM).[1] Each of these three men is estimated to have held the office for eighty years. Uzzi held the high priesthood during the careers of Judges Gideon, Tola, and Jair.
