Hazarmaveth (Hebrew: חצרמות, Khaẓarmavēth; "court of death") was the third of the thirteen sons of Joktan, son of Eber listed in Genesis 10:26.

Descendants

Hazarmevath was anciently in Hadhramaut and some of his descendants may have intermarried with the local stock. But, he may have joined Elam, perhaps contributing to the name of the Sarmatians.
