Gabriela Karine Rocha de Carvalho Haynes is a Brazilian scientist from Ceará, PhD in Geology and Paleontology, a former evolutionist who is currently part of the Young Earth Creationists group of Answers In Genesis.[1][2]

Personal life

Gabriela married on March 26, 2018 to Nathaniel Caleb Haynes of Richmond, Virginia.[3]

Professional life

Gabriela holds a degree in biology from the Regional University of Cariri-URCA, a master's degree in geosciences from the Federal University of Ceara-UFC with an emphasis on invertebrate paleontology and a doctorate from UFC with research at the University of Kentucky, USA, developing the Hymenoptera fossil project of the Araripe Basin. With experience also in Geo-education, Geoconservation, Geodiversity and Geotourism. Worked at the Araripe Geopark.

In her work at Answers in Genesis, Gabriela has worked with geologist Dr. Andrew Snelling.[4]
