We can call this family the cat family. Within the carnivore family of mammals is the family Felidae, including the domestic cat and at least 34 other species of cats. Biologists consider the cat family to be highly developed carnivores. The large types of cats are found all around the world except in Antarctica and Australia. Tigers, lions, jaguars, leopards, and pumas are examples of big cats.
