Breastfeeding
From CreationWiki, the encyclopedia of creation science
Brest feeding or natural feeding is a way to feed babies with the milk from the breasts. In present-day nature breastfeeding is only known among mammals, though there is some evidence for existence of breast-feeding dinosaurs in the past.
Breast feeding was created as a complex combination of anatomic, physiological and behavioral features of both mother and baby, including milk production and its hormonal and neurological regulation in mother, sucking reflex and digestive capabilities in baby.
Benefits of breastfeeding
In humans, breastfeeding as compared to artificial feeding can prevent or ease the respiratory tract sicknesses in children and adults. It is known to prevent some immune and various other diseases.
