Bible characters

I wonder if http://Wikible.org might interest you as far as more of the specifically Bible content goes. Not that it's bad here, but that wiki focuses more on that type of thing :-). --Tom 17:00, 15 March 2007 (EDT)

I was just editing it because it was on the list of requested articles.
I respectfully disagree with Tom's comment above. In fact, Wikible, for whatever reason, has very little information on Bible characters--and I maintain that a creation-oriented site like this one ought to treat the Bible in detail, because the creation story is part and parcel of the Bible.
Full disclosure, of course, requires me to mention that I have written a lot of articles on Bible characters myself. I am currently working my way through the Kings of the Divided Kingdoms Northern and Southern, but I fully intend to work my way through the Judges as well.
With regard to CreationWiki's image: the best thing we can do about our image is to keep creating articles that at least fill an 8.5 x 11 inch page. That's where editors like you and me come in.
As to specific works-in-progress: be assured, Chris knows all about the North Sound Christian School students and the status of their projects. I'm trying to recruit some students at the school that my own church keeps. All this is part of their education. There'll be time enough for us to make corrections--as soon as the NSCS template disappears.
If you really want to sink your teeth into something, I invite you to visit my user page, and hit the "User contributions" link on the sidebar. That will show you what I've been doing, and give you a list of my own articles. Consider this, if you like, a request for peer review!--TemlakosTalk 20:04, 23 March 2007 (EDT)

While I would prefer you wait on editing those portion that I have not done yet. In this case it was a help I can what you have written in the Mary Magdalene section.

Please feel free to correct any problems you find with the rest.

Reviews

I saw your message. Given your area of expertise, you might want to look at my RATE report review.

As to your articles, I'll take a look.

And we could agree to watch each other's user pages--and in that manner we'll get notices every time we change the pages.--TemlakosTalk 22:08, 23 March 2007 (EDT)

Photography

I suggest creating a "pictures wanted" page. I have already added some custom pictures of my own to articles (see bald eagle) and can sort through my personal photographs for any that would fit CreationWiki articles. This would be something else that would set CreationWiki apart.

And if there is a picture we can't find, either myself or some of our other shutterbug editors might be able to go out and take one specifically for CreationWiki.

Good idea. It should be a project page format - like creationwiki:image wanted.

BTW - there are some data requirement for image uploads that you are not yet on board with - partly because the instructions have never been made plain. I was working on a new page yesterday to add specific instructions - creationwiki:upload

The most recent finch image you uploaded is one that needs to be edited. In that particular case, the source should include the URL of the page that contains the image and its descriptive information. The copyright status - for wikimedia commons files can usually be found in a box under a heading thats something likie "License". The contents of that box should simply be pasted into the Copyright status form field.
There is also a huge need for categorization work on the Pool. Organisms are categorized (similar to creationwiki itself) by their taxonomic family.

Creative Commons

I took care of the image issues you requested. I suppose the words at the bottom of the media upload window should have gotten my attention, but it's all good now. --Davelr 08:23, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

The following image was not.

Also if you are the "Source" - you should identify yourself with a userlink - (i.e. user:davelr). Better I think...
