The Triceratops belong to a group of dinosaurs called Ceratops. Triceratops has 3 horns on its head as is indicated by the name.
The name Ceratops means horn-faced. They were named this because they have horns of various lengths and numbers. They also have beaks similar to a bird. Ceratops walk on four legs (quadrupedal), and are plant eaters (herbivores).
