Mariner Valley

The Mariner Valley, or Valles Marineris is a system of enormous canyons on the surface of Mars. These canyons, located just south of the equator, stretch to over 4500km (2800mi). The individual canyons are up to 7km (4.5mi) deep and 200km (125mi) long. [1].
