You can enhance your articles through the use of embedded video. A video is an animated graphic, or a short motion picture. A good video is like a good image: it enhances your article by drawing the viewer's attention to an important point.

Support for Embedded Video
Currently, CreationWiki supports the embedding of video hosted on an external shared-video service.[1] An editor can embed a video shared on any of the following services:
- DailyMotion (dailymotion)
- FunnyOrdie (funnyordie)
- Google Video (googlevideo)
- SevenLoad (sevenload)
- Revver (revver)
- YouTube (youtube)
- GodTube (godtube)
The string in parentheses is the code word used to identify each service.
How to find videos
You can search any of the above seven shared-video services for material. If the service allows direct linking of the video, then you may link to it as well.
Using videos not yet hosted
If you create a video yourself, or if you find a video that is in the public domain or otherwise licensed under terms and conditions that allow you to upload it to another site, then you can always create your own account at one of these seven shared-video services and upload the video yourself.Format for embedding a video
Video embedding is a special parser function, #ev. The format for embedding a video in your article is: {{#ev:service|id|width}}
where
- service = one of the seven code words referenced above, one for each of the seven services that video embedding will currently work with.
- id = the particular identifier of the video. To obtain this, navigate to the video on the hosting site. Look for a parameter in the URL display that looks like a unique identifier. This will appear after a phrase like swf/ or docId= or mediaId. Copy the identifying string and paste it as the "id" paramter.
- width = the width of the embedded video in pixels. By default this is whatever width the hosting service normally provides, and you are probably best served by not specifying this.
Text does not "wrap" around an embedded video. It appears above or below it. Videos are always left-justified on the page.
