CreationWiki:Site support

From CreationWiki, the encyclopedia of creation science

The CreationWiki is a valuable resource that is growing to become one of the most important research tools available to the creationist community.

On February 22, 2008 the CreationWiki was moved to a fully Dedicated Server. With a dedicated server we do not share computer resources with other websites, which means faster processing, and better reliability and performance. This is another significant upgrade that should help stabilize the CreationWiki website and prevent the periodic connectivity problems users occasionally experience when uploading or saving pages. We hope this upgrade will have lasting benefits for our editors and users alike.

Dedicated Server Specs:

  • AMD 4200x2 Dual-core CPU
  • 1500 GB Premium Bandwidth
  • 3 GB RAM Memory
  • 2 x 160 GB Sata Drives

The cost for this dedicated server is $236/month. If you value this resource, please consider making a one-time or regular donation to help support its continued development. Donations are accepted through the secure Northwest Creation Network Webstore, which accepts most major credit cards and Paypal.

Publicity

You could also greatly help the CreationWiki by linking to us on your website, or by promoting the CreationWiki to organizations, websites, or forums that are relevant to creation apologetics.

Site ranking by search engines is largely determined by the number of incoming links. By submitting the CreationWiki address to other sites on the internet, our pages will be more likely to appear on search engine results. Consider using one of the CreationWiki logos when promoting the CreationWiki on other sites.

Principal Funding

The Northwest Creation Network is the founder and principle funding organization of the CreationWiki. The CreationWiki originally began as part of the parent NWCN website, but it was later decided that the CreationWiki should have its own server and domain name. Donations are therefore accepted by the NWCN, and may be earmarked for dedication to support the CreationWiki project.
