Re: Talk.Origins FABNAQ

Maybe we ought to call it "FAAABNAQ"--Frequently Asked And Answered But Never Acknowledged Questions. Furthermore, I'd like to propose publishing some questions for the Talk.Origins crowd to wrestle with, if any of them have the courage. And let's start with those non-correlating and inconsistent radiometric dates. And let's follow that up with questions about comets. I have two that I'd like answered:

  1. Where's the Oort Cloud?
  2. Why is Halley's Comet as bright as ever, if the earth is more than old enough for Halley's Comet to have made its hundred passes at the sun?

By the way: What areas of science, or history, or Biblical or creation apologetics interest you the most?--Temlakos 22:11, 4 January 2007 (EST)

I believe those are a good questions to start with. To answer your question, biological sciences are of primarily interests but i do at times participate in biblical apologetics along with a bit of philosophy. --Gil 05:02, 7 January 2007 (EST)

Image Policy

Gil,

Please use descriptive filenames for uploaded media. Once categorized the filename will be the only description available for the image. Also, a "none" copyright status means it is copyrighted and will be deleted. All images must be either public domain, creative commons licensed, or fall under the Fair use clause. That image will have to be deleted. Walter may provide one if contacted. I checked the publisher's site, but found none - otherwise publicity photos fall under "Fair use".

I apologize Mr Ashcraft as it's my first experience in uploading images. In regards to Walter's image, it seemed to be allowed on google video so I assumed that it was non-copyright. I'll be sure to email him and see if a picture of himself could be available. --Gil 16:35, 7 January 2007 (EST)

Johnson C. Philip

Thank you very much for contacting me about Ebooks. Most of them are being reformatted so are not available for an immediate download. However, if you send me an email at drjcp@hotpop.com I will mail some of them to you Dr. Johnson C. Philip 05:41, 8 January 2007 (EST)

Walter ReMine

Don't mean to disturb you Mr Ashcraft but do you request that i delete the picture of Walter ReMine immediately or await for his reply via email? Thanks again for assisting me! --Gil 17:14, 8 January 2007 (EST)

You can wait for a little bit if you want. I expect he'll send one you can use. Let me know when a new picture shows up and I'll delete the other one. --Mr. Ashcraft 23:38, 8 January 2007 (EST)

After doing a little reading on Fair use, I believe that the image you captured of Walter Remine would qualify as such. Edit the image, claiming it as Fair Use in the copyright status field and replace it to the page. You can use the history button on Remine's page to back-track to the image.
