Talk:Dead Sea scrolls
Large portions of this page give the sense to me that they have been copied and/or machine translated from another source without adequate attribution. Even if the source document(s) is/are in the public domain, it should be rewritten in a style more appropriate for an encyclopedia.
Furthermore, this article is barely organized. Similar items are not grouped together except the list of documents at the top and the list of questions and answers down below (which, by the way, is not good form for an encyclopedia article). I can't figure out why certain scrolls are given their own sections for detailed discussion and which are simply listed in another section.
Between the lack of focus and organization on the one hand, and the poor writing/translation on the other, I almost want to scrap the whole page and start over. We need to figure out exactly why we're doing an article on the DS MSS, mock up an outline showing the features/aspects we ought to cover, then fill it in with an appropriate level of detail from the existing text, linked sources, and (as necessary) additional sources.
The point of this site is to cover topics from the Creationist Point of View -- currently, I don't see that we need much more than about 10% of what's here to cover the CPOV-relevant aspects of the Scrolls. ~ Webster (talk) 22:37, 9 August 2014 (EDT)
