Taking the bible contextually it seems that one should not say that the Philistines are descendants of the Caphtorim, but that the some Philistines such as the Avites were destroyed by the Caphtorim although a remnant were delivered from Caphtor.Kaz 04:36, 7 April 2011 (PDT)
