Richard Wiskin, born 1942 in Toronto, Canada, began his career as school teacher for Geography, History and Biology. After a 3-year course at a Bible institute he served 12 years in missionary, church and youth work in India and Europe. Challenging and qualified questions especially by many young people since around 1975 brought him to deal with the topic of "Biblical Faith and Science". Since 1982 he has been a frequently requested educational consultant and lecturer. Wiskin is the author of several books and works together with the German "Studiengemeinschaft Wort und Wissen e.V." also.

He further joined the archeological excavations in Israeli Megiddo, Hazor and Gath where he also contributed as archeological photographer. He is married to his Swiss wife Susanna. They both life in Switzerland and have got four children.
