Silicon is the element that has the atomic number 14, and the symbol Si. The number of silcon on the Earth is the second biggest one in elements and they consist of 25.7% [1] of the Earth's crust. Due to its low reverse leakage current silicon is used as the main component when making semiconductor devices like glass, ceramics, and cement.
