Margaret Helder
Dr. Margaret Helder is a botanist, writer, and Vice-President of the Creation Science Association of Alberta, Canada. She is also probably the most prominent woman in creation science. Her scientific achievements include describing and naming a species of aquatic fungus new to science, Chytridium deltanum
Education
She holds a PhD in Botany from Western University in Ontario, Canada.
Career
She published in 1976 her articles in Mycology (Canadian Journal of Botany, chapter 19 in Recent Advances in Aquatic Mycology (E. B. Gareth Jones. Editor. 1976)).
From 1998-2012, she lectured classes by invitation annually or biannually at the University of Alberta.
In 2001, she participated in the Occasional Papers of the Baraminology Study Group.
In 2016 she wrote No Christian Silence on Science.
She publishes using her maiden name Masters.
She currently is a writer for the evolution news headlines commentary website Creation Evolution Headlines.

Margaret is married to John Helder and has six adult children.
