Summary
A shepherd in central Switzerland sees a dragon. 18th century engraving by Johann Jacob Scheuchzer. Date: 1723
Presumably from his 1723 work, issued in 2 vols in 1746 by JG Sulzer, under the title of Naturgeschichte des Schweitzerlandes sammt seinen Reisen über die schweitzerischen Gebirge, (Natural History of Switzerland together with his travels through the mountains schweitzerischen).
