Detschko Svilenov
Prof. Detschko Svilenov, M.D., Ph.D. (1988), was born in 1941 in Bulgaria. He studied Theology and Medicine. Until April 2006 he has been a pathologist for 36 years at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the University of Ulm, Germany. In 1990 he was appointed as professor for Pathology. Furthermore he became an associate professor of Apologetics at the Evangelic University of Sofia in 2001.
Svilenov is married to his wife Tsvetanka Svilenova, M.D., a specialist in internal medicine, who was born in 1944. They are the parents of two sons. Svilenov and his wife are dedicated to reach and help a deceived and suffering world especially by ministering in the field of Christian Ethics, Svilenov also publishes and lectures about Creationism and Evolution. He also talked to the United States Congress (1993), the German Bundestag (1994 and 1995) and the Bulgarian Parliament (2000).
