David L. Cooper (1886 - 1965) was an american who founded The Biblical Research Society known for Cooper chronology.

Biography

David Cooper was born Cooper in 1896, later he attended Tulane University, University of Louisville, University of Chicago and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and earning his Doctorate from Bob Jones University. He also earned and received his Master’s degree and his Doctor of Philosophy degree, majoring in the Semitic languages.

In 1930 he established The Biblical Research Society and visited the Land of Israel in 1936-1937 and the second time in 1939. In December 1939 he visited the newly established state of Israel. [1]
