Cyril of Jerusalem (Greek: Κύριλλος Α΄ Ἱεροσολύμων, Kýrillos A' Ierosolumōn) (Born::315–Died::March 18, 386) was a bishop of Jerusalem and a renowned theologian of the early Church. He is honored as a saint in the Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, and Anglican churches and was declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Leo XIII in 1883.
