The International Conference on Creationism (ICC) is a quadrennial event sponsored by the Creation Science Fellowship of Pittsburgh and the Institute for Creation Research. The ICC has become one of the preeminent gatherings for young earth creationists. The most recent ICC was in August 2008.

The ICC is the world's leading scientific conference for developing the creation model. The Sixth International Conference on Creationism featured about forty original papers and special evening presentations by the world’s leading creation researchers and speakers including Andrew Snelling, Russ Humphreys, John Baumgardner, Steve Austin, John Sanford, John Whitmore, John Hartnett and many more.

Technical presentations during the morning and afternoon required registration to attend. Also, free evening presentations were geared for the general public.

Morning and Afternoon Technical Presentations - August 4, 5 and 6

During each of two morning sessions and two afternoon sessions on August 4, 5, and 6, four presentations took place in four separate rooms. A detailed schedule of the authors and their paper titles was posted on the web site. Registration was required to attend these technical sessions.

Free Evening Presentations - August 3, 4, 5 and 6

  • Sunday, August 3 - Speaker: Dr. Russ Humphreys, PhD

Topic: Why is the “Age-Issue” important to the Origins Debate and in particular to the Creation Model of Origins?

  • Monday, August 4 - Speaker: Steve Austin, PhD

Topic: Understanding the Mud Flow Revolution

  • Tuesday, August 5 - Speaker: John Baumgardner, PhD

Topic: Catastrophic Plate Tectonics: A Mechanism for the Flood.

  • Wednesday, Aug. 6 - Speaker: Andrew Snelling, PhD

Topic: The Creation Model: Its Past, Its Present and Its Necessary Future

No registration was needed to attend these evening sessions, which began at 7:00 P.M.

The technical level of the evening presentations was appropriate for the average adult audience.
