Response Article
This article (Helmholtz's contraction theory says the sun is young (Talk.Origins)) is a response to a rebuttal of a creationist claim published by Talk.Origins Archive under the title Index to Creationist Claims.

Claim CE310.1:

Helmholtz proposed that the sun's energy comes from gravitational contraction. Under this theory, the sun could not be more than about 20 million years old.

CreationWiki response:

Creationists have played with this concept, mainly as a possible way of dealing with what was then of a lack of solar neutrinos. The discovery of the missing neutrinos has put an end to such theories.
