Summary

A Rhodamine laser dye (fluorescing orange) pumped with several Watts of Argon-ion laser radiation (bright blue). The ring-cavity is tuned to support lasing at 556 nm (the green beam). This laser is being used two doors down from my lab to interrogate an atomic beam of Yb (Ytterbium) atoms.
