Summary

Kim reenacts her near wipe out by re-jumping over the small channel with water flowing through it. The problem with jumping in loess is twofold. First, if you get near the edge of the channel and you start sinking in the saturated soil. This will get your feet stuck in the loess. Then, once jumping across, the loess is rather slippery and slimy so you're prone to sliding along the surface. That's exactly what Kim did here. With her first jump she landed a bit further out from the channel than her second jump as seen by the skid mark.
