Summary

Moses: The First Author of Health

by Jay Nelson

A thoroughly researched treatise of how the practice, or failing to practice, principles of health that Moses wrote in the Torah has influenced the health of the Hebrews and the health of other peoples through the centuries.

Dr. Nelson has documented that these principles of health have not changed since Moses wrote them nearly 3,500 years ago. Obeying the Torah leads to health on Earth. Disobeying the Torah can lead to trichinosis from eating pork and can lead to paralytic shellfish poisoning from eating oysters or clams. Moses kept the 'Law' that he wrote, and Moses was in good health when he died at 120 years old.

The principles of health are grouped into sections:

• Section 1 - Mental and Emotional Health

• Section 2 - Hygiene and Sanitation

• Section 3 - Agriculture and Land Management

• Section 4 - Clean and Unclean Meats

• Section 5 - Healthy Foods; applying healthy principles to the health of the eyes today
