Summary
Dracunculus vulgaris in our garden
I missed the stink! Mary Ellen told me that she knew this had bloomed, because she was working in the garden and smelled what she thought was a dead animal. By the time I got home that night, there was almost no door, indicating it was pollinated.
"The species is characterised by a large purple spathe and spadix has a very unpleasant smell reminiscent of a carcass. That is because the pollinators of this aroid are flies"
