Summary
The Siddur of the Baal Shem Tov (1698-1760), opened on the pages of the 'Amidah
(Keywords: Rabbi Yisroel ben Eliezar, Baal Shem Tov) Photograph of the Baal Shem Tov's handwritten siddur (prayer book) with his students' names in the margins to help him remember them in his prayers. The siddur is in the collection of Agudas Chabad Library, archive #1994. The book is open to the Amidah or Shemone Esreh prayer, with blessings Yeshuah through Modim visible.
